The globalization has brought people closer across the world. Sensitizing this, SMS has entered into various academic collaborations like:
California State University, San Bernardino
California State University, San Bernardino and SMS Group of Institutions, Varanasi and Lucknow India, collaborated and joined hands on 29th April 2011 to promote academic cooperation and strengthen the roots of education. California State University, San Bernardino is the 18th most innovative Business School in the World with globally accredited programmes for nearly all the programmes that they offer. The MOU for this collaboration was signed by Dr. Manoj Mehrotra, Director of SMS Lucknow and Dr. Albert Karnig, President of California State University, San Bernardino at New Delhi on 29-04-2011 in a national level conference on Accreditation organized by SEAA. The educational, cultural, and technological ties will result in a better understanding between institutions, support the internationalization of their campuses, and enhance their contributions for the well-being of their respective communities. In the collaboration both institutions will try to develop association between their colleges, departments, administrative staffs, and professors through means like exchange of lectures, conferences, internships, workshops, collaborative research, joint projects with business and industry, and professional development programs with all colleges and faculties. The institutions will also try to exchange students, especially in various academic departments. The agreement constitutes exchange of students, program status, tuition fees, promotional materials, course selection, internships, grade reports, student housing, student’s privileges & activities, advising and counseling, student health insurance, visas etc. The whole agreement aims to advance the quality of education in terms of both upgrading the students as well as faculty. With the new collaboration, SMS puts its step forward in marking its presence in international academic arena.
