School of Management Sciences, Lucknow and Varanasi regularly organizes educational/industrial tour for its students. In the academic year 2009-10, a ten days tour was organized in the month of Februuary, 2010 for Management Students of both the colleges. The Visit was divided into two Parts (Industrial Visit and Excursion Tour); all the industrial units planned, were based at Ludhiana.
The students got the insight of companies belonging to different sectors. The industries covered were bottling plant of Coca Cola, manufacturing unit of Ralson Tyres and Tubes, Vardhman Knitting, Atlas Cycles, Duke and Arti Steels. The industrial visit have Provided a Bridge between the knowledge world and the practical world as there were briefings by HR and Marketing professionals at the end of each industry visit. In the excursion part they visited the hill stations like Shimla, Kufri and Chail. |
