Blessings, Smiles and rejuvenated Spirits mark the end of the academic session in SMS. The junior batch whole heartedly bidding farewell (ALVIDA - 2012) to their senior batch. The mesmerizing music, songs, flash freezing lights and the exuberant students are the defining moments in the party. It is the day of love, affection, trust and above all the bond of togetherness and belongingness to the institute. On 4 April 2012 the students of SMS Technical Campus bided the farewell to the students. The programme started with Saraswati Vandana Sung by college choir followed by lightening of the lamp & garlanding of Maa Saraswati by Prof. (Dr) Manoj Mehrotra - Director SMS, Prof. (Dr) G.D.Singh, Director SMSIT, Dr. Jagdish Singh – GM (Admin. & Corporate Relations). All the students were filled with enthusiasm & participated in various cultural activities like Singing, Dancing, Stand Up comedy etc. The occasion involved a participation in the events from the faculty also. At the end of the heart touching performances Mr. Farewell & Ms. Farewell titles were awarded to the selected Seniors.The winners were as follows:

The mesmerizing music, songs, flash freezing lights and the exuberant students are the defining moments in the party. It is the day of love, affection, trust and above all the bond of togetherness and belongingness.On 5 September 2011 the students of SMS Technical Campus welcomed the new students. The programme started with Saraswati Vandana Sung by college choir followed by lightening of the lamp & garlanding of Maa Saraswati by Dr.Manoj Malhotra, Director SMS, Dr.G.D.Singh, Director SMSIT & Prof.B.R Singh Associate Director SMS GI. All the students were filled with enthusiasm & participated in various cultural activities like Singing, Dancing, Stand Up comedy, Skit etc. On account of number of dances and other cultural performances of the students, ambience became extremely energetic. At the end of the heart touching performances Mr. Fresher & Ms. Fresher titles were awarded to the selected juniors from their senior counterparts on the basis of talent displayed by the students. In this way formal introduction of junior & seniors puts a foundation of long-term relationship.The winners are as followings:

• Vaibhav Mishra (PGDM -I) – First, Piyush Tripathi (BBA - I) – Second and Devyani Laxmi (B.Tech - EC) – Third, are the winners of singing competition.
  

•  Siddhartha Anand , Vardan Dixit - (Dancing) are the winners of Individual Performances.

• Aman Srivastava (B.Tech- ME) – First, Vaibhav Mishra (PGDM) – Second and Kirtika (BBA) – Third, are the winners of Dancing competition.
  

• Vaibhav Mishra (PGDM)  and Aman Srivastava (B.Tech - ME)  are the Mr. Fresher - 2011.
  

• Huma Afroz (PGDM) , Kirtika (BBA) and Harsha Agarwal (B.Tech) are the Ms.  Fresher – 2011.
